About the founder of Tuesday Night Dinner

Hey, I am Nicole - AKA Culinary Maven, I am an artist, adventurer, avid cheese supporter and founder of Maven Oak Creative, a boutique catering company that specializes in creating over the top cheese platters and grazing tables. Tuesday Night Dinner is my newest online exploration where I focus on the art and science of beautiful food.

“Life is too short to eat boring food!”

I have been featured in The Salt Lake Tribune, Salt Lake Magazine, Canvas Rebel Magazine(online), Go Solo (online) and nominated for City Weekly Best Of in 2022. I have taught in-person workshops and partner with other small businesses to put on collaborative workshop experiences. I have taught with Lifelong Learning, a continuing education program through my alma matter the University of Utah.

I seek out mountains and rosé in the summer time and crave an ice cold glacier and whiskey in winter. I am obsessed with reality TV and my cat Cheddar Jack! I am always planning the next adventure…Greenland anyone?!

I thrive on adventure and spent most of my adult life traveling and living in Seattle, California, New York City and in an RV cruising around the country. I have held almost every position possible in the service industry including working as a Culinary Assistant for a traveling TV show called Scraps on the FYI network. With an Art degree and an affinity for food, I started Maven Oak in 2019 to elevate and bring THE drama to the snacking experience. Tuesday Night Dinner was created so I could share my passion with more than just my local community!
